At Yoga Cove, we’re all about creating a space where yoga feels accessible to everyone — a practice that supports balance, wellbeing, and everyday life.

We are a mindful yoga studio nestled within the tranquil surrounds of Boomerang Beach on rich abundant Worimi Country

The Worimi people, traditional custodians and caretakers have nurtured this rich abundant land. They have a significant connection to Country, Mother Earth, and the land and sea. Here at Yoga Cove we pay deep respect to that knowledge and wisdom.

Kylie Barrow - Yoga Cove

Kylie grew up on Yuin Country on the South Coast of New South Wales and now calls Boomerang Beach home.

Kylie’s yoga journey began in her teens, when her yogi Aunty gifted her Richard Hittleman’s Yoga 28 day exercise plan — a book that helped shape her early daily practice. While living in Sydney, she explored a range of styles including Power, Vinyasa, and Bikram across various studios in the Eastern Suburbs, initially drawn to the physical aspects of the practice.

Her relationship with yoga took a more meaningful turn following a traumatic event, leading her to search for something deeper. During this time, now living in Boomerang Beach, she found her local teacher Megan Jones, whose philosophy, teaching, and wisdom resonated on a much deeper level — shaping the way Kylie now approaches both her practice and her teaching.

Kylie felt drawn to the study and philosophy of yoga, finding deep healing and growth through completing her 400-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Megan in 2021. She is a registered Level 1 Yoga Teacher with Yoga Australia and began teaching in 2022 at Yoga Mantra and Wellness Centre before opening her own home studio — a space she is excited to share with her community.

Kylie continues to deepen her studies, including Asana Biomechanics of 84 Postures with Yoga Synergy (Simon Borg-Olivier) and The Art of Yoga Sequencing with Jason Crandell. She has also taken part in a six-month teacher mentoring program with Clare Lovelace and Rachel Nokes, and also completed her 50-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Clare Lovelace at Soul Tribe in Batemans Bay.

In 2024, Kylie introduced Kids and Parent Yoga to the studio and further expanded her knowledge through the Yoga Australia Teaching Kids Yoga short course. She currently teaches Restorative, Yin, Vinyasa, and Power Yoga, and continues to be a student — following her interests and evolving through her own practice.
